Dr. Sahar Elsir Mohamed Elhassan Habib Alla completed her MBBS in Medicine and Surgery from Ahfad University for Women, Khartoum, Sudan, in 2006. In 2018, she earned her Clinical MD in Pediatrics and Child Health from the Sudan Medical Specialization Board. She was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH), UK, in 2022, and is currently pursuing a Specialized Diploma in Infectious Disease from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
Dr. Sahar began her medical journey as an intern in Ministry of Health hospitals in Dubai from 2007 to 2009. From 2010 to 2013, she worked as a General Physician in the Ministry of Health hospitals in Khartoum, Sudan. Her pediatric residency, spanning from 2013 to 2017, provided her with extensive training in various pediatric subspecialties across hospitals in Khartoum.
From March 2018 to March 2019, she served as a Pediatric Specialist at Aliaa Specialized Hospital in Khartoum, where she provided medical care in NICU, PICU, and general pediatric wards. She then joined Gafar Ibn Auf Tertiary Hospital from April 2019 to July 2021 as a Pediatric ICU Specialist, where she was involved in the management of critically ill children, PICU training programs, and quality control initiatives.
In August 2021, Dr. Sahar moved to Saudi Arabia to work at King Salman Armed Forces Hospital, where she managed pediatric cases in various departments including general wards, nephrology, PICU, and emergency care. In July 2023, she joined Emirates Rehabilitation and Home Care Center in Dubai as a Pediatric Specialist, where she provided specialized care for chronically ill ventilated pediatric patients.
Currently, Dr. Sahar is a Specialist Pediatrician at Salma Rehabilitation Hospital, where she continues to offer comprehensive, family-centered care to children with complex medical needs.
Her core areas of expertise include pediatric intensive care, emergency medicine, ventilator management, neonatal and pediatric procedures, and collaborative rehabilitation for chronically ill children. She is skilled in crisis management, leadership, and quality improvement, and is passionate about continuous learning and evidence-based care.
Dr. Sahar is licensed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), and Sudan Medical Council.
