Dr. Mohamed Tajalsir Saleh Abdelgalil

Dr. Mohamed Tajalsir Saleh Abdelgalil earned his MBBS degree from National Ribat University, Khartoum, Sudan, in 2017. He holds the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP UK), and has completed the European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC). He also holds certifications in BLS and ALS from the European Resuscitation Council. 

Dr. Mohamed began his medical career as an intern under the Federal Ministry of Health in Sudan, completing rotations in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics. He went on to serve in various capacities at Ribat Teaching Hospital – including as a General Practitioner in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and ICU – where he managed patients across specialties such as trauma, general surgery, neurosurgery, and obstetrics. During this time, he developed advanced skills in airway management, ultrasonography, central line placement, and critical care.  

In 2021, he joined Ribat University Hospital as an Internal Medicine Resident and became part of the Sudan Medical Specialization Board. Alongside his clinical work, he also served as a Teaching Assistant at National Ribat University from 2018 to 2021, teaching clinical examination and case-based discussion to medical students. 

In 2022, Dr. Mohamed moved to the UAE and joined as a General Practitioner in critical care unit. In this role, he provided comprehensive care for patients on long-term mechanical ventilation, with complex medical histories including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, and respiratory failure. He actively managed acute medical conditions such as sepsis and COPD exacerbations and gained substantial experience in managing ventilator-dependent patients with tracheostomies and PEG tubes. 

Dr. Mohamed has a strong interest in academic medicine and has published two case reports in UAE-based medical journals. His areas of expertise include airway management, internal medicine, critical care, and point-of-care ultrasound. He has also participated in multiple medical missions across Sudan and contributed to professional training and awareness initiatives, including as a speaker at International Sepsis Day events. 

Dr. Mohamed is licensed as a General Practitioner by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and the Sudan Medical Council. He is fluent in Arabic and English.
