Dr. Eslam Hamamo completed his MBBCh from the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University – Alexandria, Egypt in 2015. In 2022, he earned his Postgraduate Diploma in Preventive Cardiology from the Medical Research Institute – Alexandria University.
Dr. Eslam started his medical career in 2016 as a House Officer at Alexandria University Hospitals, where he received multidisciplinary clinical training across key departments including surgery, medicine, pediatrics, and emergency care. In 2017, he served as an ICU Physician at Nasr City Hospital – Cairo, where he managed critically ill patients, emergency cases, and trauma, and gained experience in advanced cardiac life support, airway management, and ventilator care.
Dr. Eslam has worked as a General Practitioner in the Armed Forces' outpatient department in Egypt, after which he returned to critical care as an ICU Physician at Petroleum Hospital – Alexandria until 2022. During this period, Dr. Eslam played a vital role in managing high-acuity cases across surgical and medical specialties, handling ventilator-dependent patients, and performing emergency procedures.
In 2022, Dr. Eslam relocated to the UAE and joined as a General Practitioner in the Long-Term Care Unit, where he worked in the ICU/LTCU, managing chronically ill and ventilator-dependent patients, performing bedside procedures such as CVC and PEG tube insertions, and interpreting critical investigations including ABG, ECG, and CT imaging.
Dr. Eslam’s areas of expertise include emergency medicine, critical care management, ventilator support, central line placement, cardiac resuscitation, advanced airway procedures, and bedside ultrasound-guided interventions. He is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and is preparing for the MRCPi Part 1 examination.
