Dr. Abdelrahman Soudy completed his MBBCh in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University – Alexandria, Egypt in 2017. In October 2023, he earned his Master’s Degree in Critical Care Medicine from Alexandria University following his thesis defense. 

Dr. Abdelrahman began his clinical career in 2019 as an Intensive Care Physician at El Salam Hospital and Smouha International Hospital in Alexandria, Egypt, where he managed critically ill adult patients. He later served in the ICU at Borg El Arab University Hospital where he gained significant experience in pediatric intensive care, particularly with oncology patients, and led both the Rapid Response and Code Blue teams. He also provided care in the Trauma Unit and Burn ICU, where he further developed his emergency and critical care skills. 

Dr. Abdelrahman also served as an ICU Physician at Elite Specialized Hospital – Alexandria, treating complex emergency and chronic cases, including toxicology and post-operative ICU patients. He managed a broad range of intensive care procedures and collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care. 

In 2024, Dr. Abdelrahman joined a Long-Term Care facility in Abu Dhabi as a General Practitioner in a critical care ward, providing care for mechanically ventilated patients with chronic conditions and complex needs.  

Dr. Abdelrahman’s areas of expertise include invasive airway management, emergency resuscitation, mechanical ventilation, bedside ultrasound (including FAST and chest ultrasound), central line placement, and CPR and defibrillation procedures. He is trained in Advanced Life Support (ALS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS), and has authored a peer-reviewed paper published in the Alexandria Journal of Medicine on EEG changes in critically ill patients with sepsis-associated encephalopathy. 

Dr. Abdelrahman speaks Arabic and English fluently.
