Dr. Nancy Mohamed Mohamed Ibrahim Elshamy completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at October 6 University – Cairo, Egypt in 2010. 

Dr. Nancy started her medical career as a Trainee GP at Al Qasr Al Ainy Hospital in Cairo, where she gained broad clinical exposure across general medicine, surgery, pediatrics, gynecology, oncology, and emergency cases. In 2015, she joined Al Mafrooza Healthcare Center in Alexandria, Egypt, where she managed outpatient clinics, followed up on chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, COPD, and asthma, and led preventive care programs like immunizations and smoking cessation.In 2020, she moved to the UAE and worked as a General Practitioner at Prestige Home Health Care Services, providing in-home clinical assessments and managing acute and chronic cases. She later joined a private quaternary care hospital and rehabilitation hospital in Abu Dhabi, where she specialized in post-ICU and long-term patient management, including ventilator care, feeding tube management, and tracheostomy care. She continued to build her expertise at TruDoc Health Care and Ishraq Home Health Care Services, focusing on complex comorbidities, post-COVID care, and long-term rehabilitation patients. Currently, she is a General Practitioner at Salma Rehabilitation Hospital. 

Dr. Nancy’s areas of expertise include managing patients with complex chronic conditions, providing post-acute and rehabilitative care, managing patients on mechanical ventilators and oxygen support, and developing personalized care plans under multidisciplinary supervision. She is also experienced in infection control and telehealth services. 

Dr. Nancy is a member of the Egyptian Doctors’ Syndicate. She holds a General Practitioner license issued by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.
